Owner and Founder, Kianna Brown (B.S. in Apparel Merchandising & Marketing), saw something missing in the fashion industry while working for others in the fashion industry as a marketer and a wholesale trade show sales representative.

There was a gap between cute trendy clothing and ethical/sustainable practices. Either cute stores are based on fast fashion or ethical/sustainable clothing were too minimalistic in style.  

With the vision to create a store that encompasses both and a desire to be a creative entrepreneur, Lilac Skies was born. 

What is Lilac Skies?

Lilac Skies is a curated ethical and sustainable online boutique. Lilac Skies also participates in various pop-ups at small-business markets around Ventura County, Los Angeles County and Orange County. Currently, Lilac Skies operates as a one-woman run shop with the hopes in expanding one day. 

Partnering with other small (and ethical) businesses by featuring them on Lilac Skies or collaborating on a product is also a passion here.

Alongside all of this, Lilac Skies will hope to educate the public about how important it is for the fashion industry to have ethical and sustainable practices through social media and blog posts.
